IRVINE, CA – Tish Kelly has joined Jamboree Housing Corporation as a senior project manager to help oversee the company’s growing pipeline of affordable housing projects throughout California.
Her responsibilities include seeking and managing opportunities for future affordable housing projects from site selection and acquisition through predevelopment and construction completion. In her position, she will spearhead, coordinate and direct the activities of design and development team members including architects, soils and civil engineers, attorneys, and financial investors crucial to the development process.
A leading nonprofit community development organization, Irvine-headquartered Jamboree is one of California’s largest developers of affordable housing with $320 million in its development pipeline and a $1.1 billion asset portfolio that includes the development of more than 8,200 homes in 88 California communities.
Kelly brings to Jamboree specific expertise in affordable housing entitlement and development with broad experience in due diligence, public agency debt financing, specializing in federal and state funding programs as well as performing pro forma analysis of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments. She also has expertise in land acquisition, negotiating and structuring limited partnerships, and creating finance structures that mitigate risk exposure.
Prior to Jamboree, Kelly was vice president of acquisitions with Alliant Capital based in Woodland Hills, CA, where she managed the entire project acquisition process from letter of intent through construction and securing initial investor equity. Alliant Capital is a national real estate finance and investment firm specializing in the syndication of state, historic, and energy tax credits used to finance LIHTC developments throughout the U.S.
From 2009 to 2015, Kelly was a project manager with Los Angeles-based Meta Housing Corporation, a real estate development and investment firm specializing in low income, mixed-income, and special needs housing for families and seniors. Kelly’s experience also includes serving as an assistant project manager with MacFarlane Costa Housing Partners (now Highridge Costa Housing Partners), a Los Angeles County – based real estate development and investment firm specializing in low income housing.
Kelly began her real estate career as a development associate with Champion Development Group, Los Angeles, a real estate development firm specializing in market-rate condos, retail, and mixed-use urban infill projects in Southern California. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a master’s degree in real estate development and she earned a bachelor of arts degree from Indiana University. Kelly is an accredited LEED professional and a licensed California real estate broker.
